The Perth Amboy Free Public Library proudly announces its 4th Annual Women’s History Month Celebration, set to take place on Saturday, March 29, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This inspirational event will honor four distinguished women whose contributions have significantly impacted the Perth Amboy community:

- Iris Canela – Owner of Canela Beauty Supply
- Eridania Towns – Counselor at Perth Amboy High School
- Rachel Wintermberg – Visual Art Teacher at Perth Amboy High School
The Women’s History Month Celebration is a cherished tradition, spearheaded by the Perth Amboy Library Board of Trustees that recognizes the exceptional achievements of local women who excel in their fields while making meaningful contributions to the community.
Past honorees have included Municipal Court Judge Michelle Roman, Assemblywoman Yvonne Lopez, and Council President Milady Tejeda, among other accomplished leaders. These trailblazers serve as role models, embodying strength, resilience, and leadership.
This annual event aims to establish a lasting legacy of appreciation for the invaluable impact of Perth Amboy women. By celebrating their successes, the library seeks to inspire future generations and foster unity and pride within the community.
