PUBLIC NOTICE: 2026 LBT MEETING SCHEDULE

THE 2026 REGULAR BOARD MEETING SCHEDULE FOR THE PERTH AMBOY FREE PUBLIC LIBRARY BOARD OF TRUSTEES

WHEREAS, the Perth Amboy Free Public Library Board of Trustees conducts regular meetings to ensure effective governance, oversight, and administration of Library operations; and

WHEREAS, in accordance with the Library Bylaws, the Board of Trustees regularly meets on the third Monday of each month, except during the months of August and December, when the Board does not meet; and

WHEREAS, for the months of January and February 2026, the Board of Trustees will meet on the third Wednesday of each month due to Federal Holidays, such as Martin Luther King Day and Presidents Day; and

WHEREAS, the proposed meeting schedule for 2026 is as follows:

• January 21, 2026
• February 18, 2026
• March 16, 2026
• April 20, 2026
• May 18, 2026
• June 15, 2026
• July 20, 2026
• August – No Meeting
• September 21, 2026
• October 19, 2026
• November 16, 2026
• December – No Meeting

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees of the Perth Amboy Free Public Library hereby approves the 2026 Regular Meeting Schedule as listed above.
